Upon Access was only founded this year but already it is a label with a reputation for putting out great new music. Curated by Australian producer and DJ Made in Paris, the label’s next release is from brand new singing Somersault. He is a young producer who has come a long way from working as a funk guitarist to producing music played on international festival stages and securing hits in the Beatport Top 100. 

We welcome to the label his two track EP 'Stampede' available at all digital outlets 7th October, 2016.

Made in Paris and Upon Access welcomes Melbourne's William Kiss to the label with the upcoming release of his 2 track EP 'Black Sky'. The title track delivers a dark, raw composition of surging stabs sway erratically, following their own unpredictable tempo. Black Sky truly shines, however, during its moody breakdown, through to the intense and sudden re entry. Truly a peak time rumbler.

The deep, rolling bassline behind Revival is contrasted by its rigid percussive elements, persistently evolving as it tirelessly reaches it’s stripped back, ethereal climax.

Upon Access continues to impress with a sizzling sixth EP. This one comes from German artist Renato and offers two vital cuts that are sure to find their way into some key DJ bags during the rest of the year. 

Outcomes is first and is a slowed down and deep roller riddled with frazzled synth lines. The drums are rubbery and paddy down low and things build to a big peak, with sci-fi vibes and twinkling night skies up top. It’s a dark and moody tune that will cast a real spell on any club.

On the flip, Alter is more upbeat but again characterised by droning synths from start to finish, as well as some cosmic melodic explosions up top. It’s dreamy and trance inducing and a classy house tune that shows off Renato’s great studio skill in style.

Following a run of solo releases already this year, Juliet Fox & Made in Paris come together to collaborate on a unique, melodic techno composition ‘Glad I Met You’. The pulsing bass line and growling underlining synth drives the late night track, with it’s hypnotic arpeggiator and Juliet’s vocal used as a captivating melody. 

These two Australian born and raised producers represent the track title’s true meaning, and with shows and touring life on pause for the time being, it comes at a time to really reflect.
