We are pleased to announce the launch of a new series at Innervisions called “Quantum Spits”.
House music has been around for decades, and throughout its evolution, it has spawned numerous sub-genres. “Quantum Spits” aims to explore and celebrate this diversity by dedicating each release to a particular aspect of this thing we call House. 
Our goal is to provide a platform for both established and up-and-coming producers to express their unique take on house music while also paying homage to the roots of the genre.

We are kicking off the series with Skatman, the Tunisian-born producer, DJ and label head. On „Rewarped“ he slams old school hip-hop samples into some raw and pumping house tracks, providing a fresh and up to date connection between these distinct musical eras to deliver six new cuts of raw concise electronic music. 

“Taking familiar elements and giving them a fresh twist,” says Skatman aka Aziz Haddad.

Seasoned Swiss producer, KHAINZ, fresh back from rocking the Half Moon festival in Thailand and announcing his forthcoming Tomorrowland solstice, peaks again with a debut release for Joris Voorn's Spectrum.

A brilliant brace is fronted by the title track 'The Drift'... 'When I synthesized the bass of The Drift I knew it could be something great!'
The coarseness of the synth adds a layer of dirt and imposing power, which together with the contrasting pureness of its melody works to create a powerful dancefloor moment.

The techno tandem is complete with 'Elevation,' a track that reaches new heights via its growling, all-conquering bassline. 'The bass definitely makes Elevation unique and it works so well on the dancefloor. Both tracks are extremely punchy, whilst not being too hard.'

The Spectrum family continues to grow and we couldn't be more excited to welcome Khainz aboard. You catch our drift?

Italian producer SPADA makes his Spectrum debut with a new two track release, ‘Pegasus.’  

Pegasus, the mythical winged steed of legend, serves as the perfect metaphor for the single's soaring soundscapes. Teaming up with fellow producer Malov on the title track, 'Pegasus' sets its sights on the stars, transporting the listener with its shimmering synths, sweeping strings, and euphoric breakdown that send chills down the spine.

SPADA takes the reins solo with 'I Lose My Mind.' The track boasts galloping beats, smooth chords and a bubbling bass synth that pulsates with intensity. Haunting stabs, subtle acid touches and a captivating vocal come together to create a powerfully driving soundtrack.

SPADA’s ‘Pegasus’ drops on Spectrum on 29 September 2023.

Spectrum is thrilled to welcome back Swiss producer KHAINZ, who follows up his stunning debut release 'The Drift' with another scintillating double offering - 'Complications' and 'The Answer To Everything'.

'Complications' lays the foundation with its low-slung groove and rattling synths as the track prowls the dancefloor. On the flip, KHAINZ delivers 'The Answer To Everything.' A bold statement indeed. Its deep, bubbling bassline provides a strong foundation, while an ascending melody adds an element of anticipation. Sweeping strings rush through, creating an atmospheric and emotional breakdown and as the track unfolds, rolling snares drive the momentum, culminating in a powerful crescendo.

The profound fusion of melody and might in Hollt's most recent track ‘The Void’ is a symphonic odyssey that exemplifies his signature blend of melodic house and techno. Renowned for his high-quality sound designs, Hollt crafts a sonic landscape that is intricate, captivating and powerful.

‘The Void’ is an exploration of contrasts, delving deep into the realms of emptiness and energy. Emerging with a minimalist approach and constructing a sense of anticipation, the track swells to a big buildup and drop – a moment where its essence surfaces and ‘The Void’ truly shines with its overwhelming and exhilarating energy.

‘Resonate’ is the result of 2 amalgamated visions during an auditory expedition; the outcome of Hollt & Mitch de Klein’s collaborative studio efforts. Built on a foundation of dark and hypnotizing melodies with the warm Moog Sub 37's signature sound as a backbone, combined with carefully crafted organic texture sounds, the track is a journey through contrasting moods – from the dark, brooding undertones to the energetic release of the drop.

Several iterations of the track have been around since 2020, but the foundation and structure have stood the test of time. Both artists have been playing the track in numerous sets over the past years, using the crowd’s feedback to finetune the final version. On the dance floor both tracks have become entities of their own, with early support from Fideles, Konstantin Sibold, Collé and Olivier Weiter. The records weave through crowds, with cycles of anticipation and release, making ‘The Void’ and ‘Resonate’ not just tracks, but experiences.

Between doing a remix with Salt’n Pepa’s original 16-track tapes of ‘Push it’, classical training at a conservatory, playing 5 instruments, founding, releasing records and touring with Indie pop band ‘The Jeremy Days’ in the 80’s, experiencing first hand the birth of acid house, rave and progressive techno, while living in London and Germany in the 90’s, you could certainly say Triggerstrøm has a wealth of experience.

Ask him why that matters in terms of his work as a DJ and you’ll get an answer like: "Because it helps to understand oneself and, with that, the people you play for - oh, and because it is actually a blast!”

Deftly balancing a challenging, yet highly intuitive eclecticism, his live sets are founded in House, Nu-Disco, Afrobeats, IDM, Electronica and Progressive House.

“When I go out to dance, I am hungry” he explains, “hungry for love, freedom, movement and inspiration. If the music of that night feeds some of those cravings and with that those of the audience and listener, I consider it a great night"

His all time fave car that he owned was a white 1979 SAAB 900S and also the same color coded ADIDAS basketball sneakers that matched it. 
He fears the depths of the oceans as much as he finds humor in awkward situations due to cultural differences. 
The less-is-more approach to food, music, architecture and design turns him on. 

Bulgarian-born, raised in Germany. Resident the past 10 years in Los Angeles, via London, NYC and Miami. Played the legendary Golden Pudel in Hamburg and also entertains private events. 

Triggerstrøm is currently resident DJ at Bar Stella in Silver Lake, Los Angeles
