This June one of Nu-Disco, House and SynthWave's most ubiquitous and well respected figures Freak You unleashes his swansong, a massive Pop House tune titled There You Are.

Assisting him in rocking your world is London ElectroPop superstar Bright Light Bright Light. Fresh from I Wish We Were Leaving, his collaboration with Sir Elton John, BLx2 is the icing on this deep and infectious House monster you're sure to be hearing a lot of over the Summer.

The release comes full to bursting point with some of the hottest reMix talent around. Deep, floorfilling club sounds provided by Edwin Van Cleef sit next to lush and emotional retro SynthWave from Starcadian, while Cosmonaut Grechko transports us back in time with a classic early 90s House tune and She's The Queen take us straight to the big room.

France's Freak You remains an enigma, despite being one of the most well known figures on the Nu-Disco and House music scenes. Bright Light Bright Light is the moniker of Welsh born, London based Rod Thomas who released his début album Make Me Believe In Hope last year to rave reviews. Hailed by Sunday Times Culture as "a songwriter of extraordinary dexterity", by Elton John as the hottest new thing in music, ending up at no.4 in the Guardian Reader's Albums of 2012 poll, and touring with Ellie Goulding, Erasure and Scissor Sisters, it's clear that his late 80s/early 90s tinged ElectroPop has found quite a few fans.
Rod, "the boy Robyn in all but name" according to the NME, is performer, songwriter, producer and DJ.

There You Are gets the reMix treatment from some of the most exciting names in electronic music. Acclaimed Dreamwave/Nu-Disco/House producer Edwin Van Cleef  is up first with the kind of crowd pleaser he is so known for. Starcadian, who's been receiving a lot of press recently for his Disco tinged SynthWave and his epic music videos, delivers a blissful nostalgia trip. The early 90s House scene is perfectly captured by Cosmonaut Grechko on his shiny piano jam and ElectroPop giants She's The Queen serve up a huge Progressive House track for the biggest dancefloors.

Icicles were beginning to form on his lengthy beard as he pushed the small, sputtering motorcycle to its limits. The bitter wind stabbed him in the face like a relentless barrage of daggers. He was the only idiot out on a bike in these miserable conditions, and on Christmas Eve, just before midnight, he was practically the only person on the road at all. Black ice all around, even the tiniest bit of misfortune could surely have sent The Bearded Man to his untimely doom. In fact, the odds were 9,000 to 1 that both he and the bike wouldn't survive the epic trip in one piece. He wondered: “Do they even have snow chains for motorcycle tires?” As if merely pondering the question would somehow make him a more responsible person. "Surely the gas tank must be approaching empty right now…" He thought to himself. As he cleared the last ridge coming out of the foothills, he could just make out the faint lights of a glowing town in the distance. He could probably walk from here if the gas ran out, but hell… It would take all night. So why? Why would he do this? What kind of crazy, stupid, idiotic, all-encompassing thing could make a normally rational man risk life and limb on a cold, dark night when every sane person would have stayed inside by a warm fire? But… To quote The Oracle from The Matrix… “You already know what I’m going to tell you."
