Acts 1:6-11 - Waiting on Your Call

We gather  during the Divine liturgy not merely as individuals, but as members of a holy assembly — one body in Christ, bound together by the Spirit and called into communion with God and one another. "He made us unto Himself an assembled people” — a people set apart, sanctified, and united in love, truth, and worship.
In the Divine Liturgy, we see this clearly —the Body of Christ — where Christ is the Head, and we are the living members, one altar, one Eucharist, and one faith.

The crowning of thorns would’ve been the most painful experience for Our Lord. A ram caught in thorns was offered instead of Abraham's son and so too Christ was offered as a Sacrifice instead of us.
