Friends & Family is a multi-genre compilation album curated by PBC. and friends of the company. The album is to showcase the insane talent of the people we've met throughout the years. A triumph of friendship and comradery. We see the phrase "Friends and Family" used to address that specific crowd, but who is in that crowd? why are they deserving of that title? what makes them your friends and family? the connections we make are everlasting, the impact humans have on our lives is immeasurable, and the people who helped make this come together (and was patient with our delays :P) have been some of the most important people in my life. Which is why I give them this title. My friends & family.

death trap hailing from Wollongong, meaning something akin to 5 cloud island in the Dharawal language, has graced the Hustledem with 3 tracks for the first Dub Hustle fundraiser EP. 3 tracks of a version excursion nature - pure, unadulterated grime. As Daseplate describes death trap productions essence "sounds like art" & "dubstep factory racing", he's made a super unique sound of unrushed, spacious soundtrack-esque instrumental grime riddims.

3 Mile Height refers to the West Papuans still living & resisting the Indonesian occupation of their ancestral lands, the Star Mountains. The peak of the mountain range measures just under 3 miles (15,617 ft). The use of Arabic characters for "Mile Height" connects the plight of the West Papuan people to those of all First Nations people in particular to the supercharged colonisation of the Levant (Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq & so on)

This EP is to raise funds for the ongoing fight to survive for the West Papuan sovereign solidarity movement.
