Arriving off the back of his highly-praised new album ‘Flowing Fades’, Manchester-based musician Saccades (the solo project of The KVB’s Nicholas Wood) is now sharing a new remix of the album’s title-track by Nottingham DJ and producer Modri (Skint Records / BMG). Originally trading in an escapist psychedelic pop sound, the Modri remix turns ‘Flowing Fades’ into something blissfully euphoric and dance floor ready. On this remix, it’s 1989, the linens are on, Italo Disco is kicking off and we’re all supping tequila sunrises in Miami.
 
Wood says of the ‘Flowing Fades’ remix: "Modri's remix totally blew me away when I first heard it, the pounding drums and fizzing synths have transformed it into a club-ready banger!" Modri, real name Charlie Burley, adds: “I had such a blast working on this remix. I wanted to move away from the dreaminess of the original and turn it into something a bit more twisted. I was really drawn to the chorus vocal, so I started working an Italo inspired beat around that and then everything fell into place really quickly!"

What’s this? Another new release from up our busy sleeve! 

Solar Death Ray' is the debut single from Berlin group Clear History, a scorching post-punk trio intent on bringing a matchbox to the dance floor. "Light a match and watch it drop, burn it down" they sing on this pulse-quickening single, which sounds equal parts Kleenex, Gang of Four and ESG.

'Solar Death Ray' is taken from the band's debut EP 'bad advice good people' out November 5th on Upset The Rhythm.

New album from ex-Staches, Couteau Latex, Purpur Spytt, originally based in Geneva, now straight outta Leipzig, hence the title in German, which means "This Is Not Stealing". Indeed, this is not stealing, I am simply reposting what is available elsewhere.

Marauder has come a long way since its debut demo. Their bedroom synth-pop experiments have transitioned to jam space communal wizardry. Unpredictable but still bouncy, musical but still drony, machine but still human. This is the Power of Four as the title of the album says in French. A homebrewed synth-punk with advanced decorative punctuations. A beautiful mosaic in the decaying ruins of an ancient European city with graffiti on ramparts.
