This is a small, 20-minute promo mix made for the MEDIALIVE festival that took place between July 13-15, 2012 at The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. It was a tie-in to a 2-hour long mix, '95 Years of Nonlinear History of Ambient Media', curated for the wind-down after Friday evening's performances.

MEDIALIVE Bonus

A slightly truncated version of the 2-hour mix, '95 Years of Nonlinear History of Ambient Media' as presented at MEDIALIVE, 2012 at The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art in true Manuel Delanda style, choosing the arbitrary starting point of 1917, the year the composer Erik Satie coined the term musique d’ameublement, or, furniture music -- though the mix could be understood as extending vastly further into the past, as it includes the sounds of belled goats, protest, river drumming, and Pachelbel.
