“Unser Lager steht am Waldesrande" (Our Camp Stands at the Forest's Edge).  Folk song, Brande Concentration Camp (Poland, ca. 1942).  Performed in German by Gita Frank. This was the “anthem” of the Brande Concentration Camp. In it, Frank sings about the camp, the snowy forest, watching the men march to word, and about the guard who stands watch at night. “Undzer shtetl brent” (Our Village is Burning) by Mordecai Gebirtig (Poland, ca 1938).  Performed in Yiddish by Gita Frank. The track includes an introduction from the singer, who says how the composer’s daughter would sing it in the basements of the Krakow ghetto.
