To close "Bringing Back Oldschool Robotics" by 4s0, a talented producer from Rio de Janeiro, it's a track with a funk-groove attitude with a breathless bass-line.

The album is inspired by the interstellar object "Oumuamua", a mysterious asteroid with a singular shape, which passed through our solar system in 2017.

@darren-j-horgan is a producer from London (UK), devoted to Acid and Electro. He produces all his tracks with vintage Analog Synths, Analog Sequencers, Drum Machines and old school hardware Effect units.
He can usually be found in his Dark Esoteric Studio connecting CV and Gates to one another in search of a of that next crazy Bassline!

In the past years Darren has appearances on Fundamental Records "Electric Eclectics", and "808 Box" vinyl collections; moreover on "EA Sampler.01" from Electro Avenue Records.
Now he's back on track with his "Oumuamua" EP!

During pandemic saw their first EP released on Monotoon Obscure Records (NL), with a fantastic RXmode’s Remix charted by Dave Clarke in his Whitenoise show and again in his Best of Electro 2020.
After their music got lost and stuck on several labels office desks for way too long, the duo is back with a new EP, including 2 brilliant remixes by @kimcosmik and @paranddd.

Krypton 81 had its humble beginnings as a two-man project conceived on a cold November night at Copenhagen Central Station in 2013. The first release hit the scene in 2014, featuring Electro-infused music inspired by space travel, science, and occultism. Numerous subsequent releases followed on labels such as X0X, Lunar Orbiter Programme, Blind Allies, etc. With various live appearances across Europe, the group gained momentum. 
However, in 2022, they decided to part ways. Now operating as a solo endeavor, Krypton 81 is still alive with a lot of new music in the pipeline.

ALOREN - Space Trip (Preiew)

Urban Distortions is very proud to announce the new album from Slaker “The Transition”. Massimo, the founder of the label, with this album introduces the concept behind his alter ego Slaker, a fascinating sci-fi story of a cyborg included in the package (please refer to the image below). 
“The Transition” is an 8 tracks project with electro influences spiced with futuristic melodies and dark soundscapes, which comes out from Massimo’s studio research, where he mix synths and drum machines hardware enhanced by analog gears to achieve an eclectic sound that is Slaker’s imprint. 
The album includes Quite Unstable, taken from the VA “Napoli Underground files v.01” in extended version, which has got the support of well-known artist such as: G-man (LFO), Ilectrolab, and Ryan Phillips (Code Rising). 

“The Transition” will be released the 19th of February 2018, in limited and numbered red CD in vinyl style.

Slaker - Acid Rain Encounter (clip)

Straight away from Barcelona underground scene on Urban Distortions, the ultimate project from Carlos SicRock, QUADRANT 5 tracks of urban Electro sound filled of punchy grooves along with deep atmospheres coming from unknown worlds.
Carlos is a talented and very active producer based in Barcelona, coming out from the break-dancing and graffiti street culture. At the beginning, with a radio-cassette at full volume playing the latest tracks from the Electro scene, and then it was not just about dancing and making graffiti, eventually the music brought Carlos trough a futuristic world full of nuances. His music is always a reflection of his own life, looking back to all those moods and capturing all of them in his productions, besides each theme according to the image that comes to his mind. 
Carlos first approach to Electro going back to the university time, with an album for Electroclub Records, and then his appearances on Urban Connections, Elektrodos Recordings, and Anti Gravity Device, until his ultimate releases for Mision115 and Crobot Muzik in 2018; always showing an high degree of creativity and getting the interest of one pioneer of Electronic Music as Dave Clarke.
