Les Deux are an up-and-coming duo from Paris with only a few productions to their name. Once you hear "Jolie" chances are you'll be hooked. The introduction gently drifts you into a universe melting of wistful piano chords, animated synths and a luxurious bassline. A seemingly endless journey of simplistic keys, it's mediative rhythm effortlessly orbits from one deep house plateau to the next with the incorporation of soft drum kicks and chimes. Maverick DJ/producer Riva Starr burst on to the house music scene in 2009, impressing a wide variety of fans with his cheeky productions and remixes which straddled genres, tempos and geographical inspirations. Now the man born Stefano Miele is pleased to announce the release of ‘Absence’, the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Hand in Hand’.

‘Absence’ shows off Riva Starr’s indie background and is probably his most mature work to date. Mixed by Ash Workmann of Metronomy fame, this quirky love song features vocals by ex-The Research singer Russell Searle. Initially drafted in with the sole intention of penning a few top-lines, his quirky infectious interpretation soon conquered all, and so RSSLL came to be.

The video for ‘Absence’ comes from Milan-based director Virgilio Villoresi, an award winning “artisan” filmmaker whose bizarre influences (from Polish animators to US underground arts) are clearly reflected in the intriguing final product.

Throughout 2012, Riva Starr graced venues such as Manchester’s Warehouse Project, Watergate (Berlin), ElRow (Barcelona) as well as hosting his “Snatch! Records” tent at Creamfields and Tomorrowland. Check him out on the 15th of February at a rare Fabric appearance.

With the release of ‘Hand In Hand’ this summer, 2013 is set to be an even bigger year for Riva – watch this space…

URBAN MX  esta enfocado a dar a conocer e impulsar el talento nacional sin dejar de resaltar a los grandes  exponentes mundiales.
Todos los géneros de la música electrónica serán bienvenidos, ya que creemos en la música como un todo redefiniendose a si mismo constantemente. 
Asimismo buscamos SITUAR  al Distrito Federal como una de las capitales nocturnas en la música electrónica al nivel de otras capitales de la música como Nueva York, Londres, Los Ángeles, Ibiza, París, Tokio o cualquier otra grande capital a nivel mundial.

Intentaremos publicar periódicamente desde reseñas de los mejores centros nocturnos, fechas de conciertos, noticias, new releases, reportajes de DJ’s y productores destacados de la escena electrónica, de diferentes colaboradores y algunos invitados.
  Por último nos gustaría recibir cualquier tipo de retro o pregunta através de los comments que intentaremos contestar de la mejor y mas clara manera posible, para hacer este espacio mas dinámico e interactivo.
