Just in time for the English subtitle version of the film "Bar25 – Timeless Days“, the long overdue continuation of the cult soundtrack to the film is finally presented. Along with the title "Zeitgeist“, a new compilation series is introduced that kidnaps us periodically and takes us to the world of electronic music fantasies. Endless nights and timeless days characterize the musical style of an entire party generation.
Artists such as Wareika, Acid Pauli, Nico Stojan, Guido Schneider, Madmotormiquel, Bondi, Frivolous, Agents of Vibe, Oceanvs Orientalis, Kotelett & Zadak, Robert Owens, Pier Bucci, Autotune, Click Click and many more present a total of 23 titles, many of which are newly-produced and exclusive to the compilation. The result is a work that captures the spirit of a generation and catapults us beyond time for many hours. As label manager, Danny Faber grasped the opportunity to contribute a DJ-mix to the compilation.

trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

gázel: We both come from very different musical backgrounds and have almost opposing views on sound design and arrangement tactics. This manifests itself in ways that constantly surprise us. Julian has a past in Punk, Indie and Hip Hop projects and is fond of nearly any handmade music. Lucas has been listening to experimental electronic music since his teenage years and has a past in harder music styles such as Metalcore and Hard Techno. After we listened to the finished track, we realized we fused those influences together unconsciously, while still sticking to our lowest common denominator: Downtempo. We think the track does very good job at representing who we are, musically. (...)

Oráculos y Oasis is my first release with guest musicians. And it was a huge pleasure that i had this opportunity. On the track Oráculos, you can hear Janosch Marti playing the trombone, he is a very good friend of mine. It brought the track on a totally different level. In Oasis, my father Daniel Fasching laid down some accordion lines, which gave that track this slight melancholic touch but still so full of joy.
