Intiche is an Argentinian (wallmapu) musician who has called Berlin his home since 1999. His style is a fusion electronic, nu-cambia, tribal, trance, techno, minimal, native and natural sounds. He has been releasing albums on Folcore, Konn Recordings, Aztec Electronic Music since 2012.

Our Garacast 04 comes from the hard working artist Kusht. So we are really happy and proud that he found some time for our little beloved label. His mix is called “The Temple of Sloth”. With this mix he wanted to give us a real feel of adventure and discovery just like the movie "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" but with a super slow twist. When he closes his eyes and think of Garasadah Records he sees temples and ruins so he chose tracks with lots of texture, heavy emotion and the power to transport you somewhere.

The duo Lost on Arrival has marked presence in the Mexican scene with distinguished performances; either opening or closing dancefloors in venues, parties and intimate but memorable after parties.

Besides their work as DJs, Vic and Fer have curated events through their Slowmotion collective bringing and playing alongside artists like Vruno, M.Rux, Matanza and Fata & Morgana in Mexico City.

Now, Lost on Arrival comes to Tepeme with a mixtape dedicated to animals and contextualized through an intro, samplers and tracks that refer to beauty, love and respect for them. In this essence, they manage to capture our mind and body for an hour and a half, taking us to the most natural soundscapes.

Every creature - even a flea, of which stone sculptures have survived - was important to the Mexica (Aztecs). Any animal could be the ‘double’ of a human being - in other words, it could share that person’s life and exert influence over his or her character. Gods too had the ability to transform themselves and appear in the form of animals. 

One of the most important was the jaguar (ocelotl) which the Nahuas (Aztec people) called ‘the king (tlatoani) of animals’. In fact, the jaguar was the animal double of Tezcatlipoca, protector of rulers and also of sorcerers believed to have great powers. Many images of jaguars have survived - sculptures, reliefs, paintings, images in codices - from pre-Classic Olmec times to the arrival of the Spanish, all of which give testimony to the central role played by this great feline in pre-Hispanic thought.
