Trick-C - I Call It Techno

Originating from Germany, the First lady of Slovenian Techno, Trick-C, succumbed to electronic music in the early 90's but her musical career started already as a small infant when being put to sleep with music and headphones on. She is one of the pioneers of slovenian electronic music and without doubt from a wider perspective one of the rarest female artist with such a long mileage who is still working on nowadays underground techno scene. Her career took it's first steps when she cultivated her home region with fresh electronic beats. Driven by the desire for a dynamic life and new experiences she moved from the rural side to provincial Maribor, later to the country's capital, Ljubljana. After conquering Slovenian dance floors she quickly gained recognition which led to gigs and festivals abroad. She is known not just as a DJ, but as a successfull producer, promoter, event organiser and a personal mentor to many young artists and other actors involved in electronic music. From the very beginning she has been addicted to the underground,where her inspiration and perseverance comes from. Trick-C plays a major, significant role in the promotion of pristine techno in her homecountry. She shares respect for intimacy, honesty and freedom of creative expression and believes in respecting the artistic individuality instead of tracking current trends. Today she is active within her projects Urban Divas (since 2007), providing additional feminine touch to the floors and her residency Bodywork (since 2012). Behind the decks she is able to create and deliver the most intimate emotions through her musical execution and an authentic DJ performance with a great selection of tunes and unique feeling for controlling the crowd. She has the empathy and intuition necessary to present her vision of techno in a way that showcases its greatness. Building her own music story with a special combination of old and newschool flavour wich reflects her deep and instinctive understanding of techno. Since 2009 her tracks are released on prominent underground labels:  Vezotonik, Sub Cult, Groove Worx, Soul Access, Fever, Different Is Different Records, Shout Records and gaining support  by many international respected artists. She is a passionate and intelligent electronic music lady with almost a quarter of century eyperience and ever-expanding knowledge and fanbase. It's no wonder that she has earned herself the titel of the "First lady of slovenian electronic music". Her burning desire and mission to edducate the audience, make them dance and smile and her abbility to find the connection between what she likes and what makes the crowd respond, makes her one of the most sophisticated slovenian techno artist today.
