2000's Masters EP (Snippets)

The LOVE EP was created in a time of personal distress and inharmony. This lead to a healing phase where music played a big roll and was used as medicine for (re)creation and overcoming attachments. 

UrbnMowgli’s first vinyl is packed with 5 original tracks all revolving around the theme of “love” - empowering broken beats, wide lush synth scapes, melodic acid and deep bass lines are the tools used to create a unique atmosphere and give the term retro-futuristic a fresh new twist.

Holding a classic "6 mio. ways to die" sample the track reflects the weird, hate and war filled times that stand opposed to the global and individual spiritual awakening happening around the world. The agressive vocals and hard sonic elements are therefore contrasted with lush spheric otherworldy synthscapes.

"You Are Lucid" is an experimental 2 track EP which is highlighted through broken beats, dark basslines, tribal chants and glitched sound aesthetics in combination with lush synth layers. I focused on creating an alternative melancholic sonic experience which embeds the listener in deep thoughts and strong mental visuals.

Due to the current situation we are all facing due to Covid-19, I'm gifting this EP to anyone wanting a digital copy.
