On this first episode, I ask my father about the first comic strip he remembers reading. What follows is a story about childhood in New Hampshire in the first half of the 20th century. My dad is a historian and lifelong New Englander who taught public school history classes for 54 years. We in his family have been lucky to hear him tell stories our whole lives, it's an honor to share that with the world.
