On Episode 17 of Collide Radio, we welcome Ander Race AKA Ander Carrera, a Basque born DJ and producer now based in Barcelona.

His output cuts across international labels like W, Ritmo Futuro and Anathema, alongside key Spanish imprints including Anims, Manitox and RAFT, landing with a sound that is modern, driving, and built for long sets in real rooms. Less trend chasing, more tension, groove, and clean intent.

On the dancefloor, he has played Pacha Barcelona, Macarena, Chica, Negro y Rojo and Boris, with headline moments like Superfekta, and shared lineups with Yet More, Josh Gigante and Rick Offen. His music has also earned support from Argia and Julya Karma.

Beyond his own project, Ander is also A&R and Events Manager at Ritmo Futuro, helping shape releases and programming with purpose.

Hugo Samba's only objective is to make people forget the DJ, fully embrace the dance and slow down their sense of time. To achieve this, he blends his musical background, cultural roots, and skills in electronic music. Thanks to labels like Sounds of Sirin, Café de Anatolia, Sound International, The Purr and others, he travels between Organic/Deep House and Progressive/Melodic House.
You can meet him in Paris, playing with his collective La Miaou Records, which he founded in 2023 to write his own path through friendship and passion.

His last EP ‘Kairos’, released on Sounds of Sirin, made a blast in the organic scene. Hitting #1 on Beatport Organic House.
This EP is a true reflection of Hugo Samba’s passion for organic house and ethnic influences. With a deep love for delicate oriental melodies and vibrant Afro percussions, he has crafted a release that radiates sunshine, love, and the uplifting energy of the unforgettable parties he has hosted in Paris.

To bring this vision to life, Hugo collaborated with incredible musicians, weaving their unique sounds into each track. Blonde de Soleil is a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend, whose presence brightens every space. The title track, Kairos, was created alongside a hang drum musician, resulting in a distinctive melody and atmosphere—the name itself, rooted in Ancient Greek, represents the beauty of living in the present moment. Wingu is a deep Afro-melodic journey enriched by the groove of Brazilian percussion, while Te Revoir closes the EP with an ethereal, cosmic essence, designed to leave the listener in a dreamlike state.
