Test output from my new algorithm for generating drums. 

My first algorithm I used in piston/replica involved using:
• 12 State Markov Chain to manage MIDI
• 12 State Markov Chain to manage FX

This is test output from a new algorithm that runs:

• 12 State Markov Chain to manage MIDI
• 4 x 3 state Markov Chains managing Timbre
• (Eventually) 12 State Markov Chain to manage FX

I found timbre to be a more effective variation than beat repeat, reverbs, delays, etc and generates less repetitive drums. I still think FX chains should be introduced just with less reliance on carrying the drums variance.

i really wanna stay at your house

when i was younger, my dad took me to two train stations in specific. i was a very stereotypical autistic kid who liked planes and trains. I loved the wind as the fast ones went by. Recently, my dad took me back to those train stations for nostalgia, and i've been thinking alot about those moments when making my art or music. I have to wonder if this is where my inherent emotional attachment to trains comes from. This was made from various recordings from the main train station i used to frequent as a little kid.

Usufruct

composed on iMaschine on my phone in a laundromat while I was waiting for my clothes. I sampled the sounds of coins going into the machines, their beeps, me knocking on them and tapping my foot impatiently. Juno synths and for some reason a laugh track were added. this was the first song I completed so it seemed only fitting to have it come first.
