Catharsis is the psychoanalytic method to eliminate mental disorders, nervous excitement, tension and anguish, causing an emotional outburst based on past events that are linked to those disturbances.

The term comes from the Greek "katharsis" and represents the state of psychic liberation that man experiences when he can overcome some trauma such as fear, oppression or another mental disorders. Through therapies such hypnosis or regression, it can redeem the memories that caused the trauma, leading the individual to achieve different emotions that can lead to healing and cleansing or relief from emotional tensions, especially through some art fields as the music.

The higher duo of Alchemy Circle created an unknown sensory method through his music to present a new experience on his first EP by Uroboros Records.

Uroboros is an ancient symbol that has been present throughout human history for millenia. The first known appearance of this motif was in the, so-called, Enigmatic Book of Netherworld (Underworld), an ancient Egyptian funerary text found in the tomb of Tutankhamun. Originally, the symbol represents the unified Ra-Osiris in serpent form biting each other tails, which stands for protection in Ra's underworld journey. This compilation features a journey through dark and organic sounds, an Uroboros signature, pushing the boundaries of bpm [128 to 144] From the artists involved, half are usual suspects, and the other half are presenting their work for the first time in the label. Expect some intricate and obscure sounds from some of the top producers in our scene.

For our next release, we present you FishEye a.k.a. Dj Rifs. Our Chilean connection has been working tirelessly in his productions since added to the Uroboros family and now he is able to deliver a solid debut EP for the label: "Ashes, dust an smoke".

To be brought out on 20th of April (such a remarkable date), it's composed of four tracks and they evoke the different stages in the cultivate/growing process. To a personal level, the name of the EP comes from his own personal journey in the studio and from the travels he's been to for the last couple of years. These tunes are linked to the moments they were created, mostly in his tours up in the Northern Hemisphere (California, Slovenia, Berlin and Barcelona). It includes two homegrown and two versus with Kromagon and with Brojanowski.

Unfathomable is the latest EP by Gahara, psytrance project from the brazillian mid-west. These tracks were all forged within the abyss and transfered via telepathic means in order to be audible. Growls from beasts within, feral psychedelic twirls and many swells of cerradelic influence fill every song in this release. This EP brings a fresh new narrative for the forest progressive sounds, with chunky pumping tracks including two collabs with great long time friends Space Organ and Alchemy Circle and a massive remix of a classic Uroboros track by Hellquist and Sneryck, which is extremely symbolic as this track was a massive influence in Gahara's music making years to come.  
This is his first EP on Uroboros, and he is very happy to be onboard for more innovative sounds.
