LIL FISH - White Cloud

This is a song that I've been working on for a while now, it has slowly transcended into many different things throughout the process but I feel like it tells one big emotional story, an emotional experience of sorts. 

It starts with a sort of reggae sitar vibe that eventually leads into the original sitar riff I made on my Roland Juno G with a backround percussion from a Korg Volca beats. 

The next transition is into a Chinese vocal sample that I cut into pieces to create a sort of strange vocal melody on top of the existing background beat.

From there I go into a sample of a Morin Khuur with Mongolian throat singing layered with a bass line I came up with on my Yamaha 4 string.

The final movement takes you into a sort of dreamy synth lead created with the Thor plugin in Reason 8. I like to think of it as the climax of the song.

All in all I learned a lot putting this one together, I used a variety of different techniques I've picked up throughout the years and had a fun time working out the kinks. I hope it takes you on a spiritual journey, because it was quite the ride for me making it. Cheers.
