From a young age she had a love and passion for music. Her Father being a predominate supporter of her work, his influence of playing music on the 1930's gramophone 6/7 15 bit player on a Saturday afternoon steered her mind. Collecting original vynal records from bespoke stores and stalls in Shepherds Bush since the early 80's in the west London. Developing a vast collection of influenced like Carrol Thompson, Deborah Glasgow, Sandra Cross and Louisa Marks with the classic "Sixth Street" amongst many others. With her roots Firmly in the church and a constant voice of the choir, Judy Urshelia has grown and harvested her sound, rhythm and soul. Within her voice she has the gospel vibration. Her powerful and distinctive nature is warmed with the true west Indian Flavor love by producers, peers and family.
