'Sometimes you dream about being able to stroll from planet to planet. Waddling smoothly between interstellar places within minutes without working up a sweat.

These 3 versions of the track Deía do exactly this. And they do it with elegance and fleet-footedness. Even if all the tracks are quite different from each other, so they all circle around the same yellow glowing ball of light in the same solar system. They share the warmth of a fervent sun-soaked afternoon. An afternoon perfect to discover stars and explore little adventures.

The original track from Mira & Christopher Schwarzwalder takes its time before it puts you in your space suit. It guides you into your journey with a cautious hand, letting the engine reverberate at just the right time. It doesn’t matter if we’re ascending or descending through the atmosphere, we’re on the move.

Ruede Hagelstein also takes his time. First, he sends us a postcard with the most beautiful description of his home planet. Later, he begins to fill us in on all the details of its origins and history. All this he does with the guiding hand of a perfectly experienced travel guide who loves nothing more than to share these little secrets and stories with you.

AVEM, in turn, picks us up with his planet cruiser - an old family heirloom – which he has devotedly maintained for years. The sound aboard prepares for the slightly wonky sunrises in his homeland. He points out of the cockpit with bright eyes and whistles 'Deía - oh, Deía – we are coming! “'

Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. Mekong is a energetic tribalistic heater that is bossy from the start. Subtle driven stabs create a melody suitable for any dance floor. All derived from layers of elements which, without a doubt, will attract your attention and make it easy to dance till the very end.

Our very own Noraj Cue brings a remix that is compelling, seductive, yet still raw at the same time. The right balance of build and progression keeps your head and body in motion. Seasoned with sounds from the original in combination with some timed randomness will maintain a steady development throughout. We always love Jaron's touch. 

Futaleufu, a Mapudungun word meaning Big River,' starts with a driving kick that channels into a dark, rolling bassline. Elements of techno, and tribal percussion paves the way to this stream of mysteriousness and hypnotic spirit. This is what we've been waiting for. Give in. 

And to top of the ep, Britta's remix is a deep fusion of techno and grindy house with a sprinkle of acid. Her intricate layers of drum elements play perfectly off each other to provide an elefante' und elegante taste of minimal tech, that signature sound you and I so dearly love to hear from this Katerblau resident. Meoooow!

When I composed Devil Brothers, I wanted to make something super groovy, but I missed something, until I discovered the Nevilles Brothers a funk/soul American band from the 80’s. Their voice was the little element I missed, so I sampled it. And here we come.

After Acud & Beatmörtelz started the „Verbrennungsmotor" two years ago, they are now marching towards the tax office. Snotty, cheeky and with the necessary portion of irony, the craftsmen plaster the tax and ask the justified question of their own share in the state's assets.

A music video was created together with the Current Dance Collective from Hamburg. With dancing powers and the facial expressions of two personalities, a story was told that exposes the song to a new field of tension and brings a surprising ending. Video premiere: July 31th, 2020.
