Synesthesia is a perceptual condition where the individual finds the stimulation of one sense represented in a different cognitive pathway. It can be as subtle as connecting specific colors to certain emotions. Some people can see the acoustic waves they are listening to as pulsating colors or feel them as temperatures. The awareness and intensity of synesthesia varies from person to person but the way our brain is wired, we all carry it in us and there are infinite ways how synesthetic associations can combine and interconnect our senses.

Es war kurz nach 10.
Die MainStage hatte gerade ihre letzten Töne von sich gegeben als sich eine kleine Menge an Leuten vor uns in der Jurte versammelte. Wir spielten schon seit etwas mehr als einer Stunde. 
Viertel nach 10 und wir stellen mit Erstaunen fest, dass niemand in dieser Jurte am reden war.
Die Augen waren geschlossen.
Barfüßig schwebten die Menschen über die Teppiche.
Kuschelnd lagen oder saßen sie im Raum verteilt.
Es war eine perfekte Landung.

Diese Nacht wird uns beiden noch sehr lange in schönster Erinnerung bleiben. 

Wir freuen uns die gefühlvollen Klänge der Entschleunigung, aus der Sonntagnacht, mit euch zu teilen und träumen uns und euch in die Jurte zurück.

While summer’s green is being replaced by hues of red, orange, yellow and brown, a new, yet familiar, energy invites us to rest, calm down and turn inward. 
The changing of the seasons is so familiar and yet always astonishing - isn’t it wondrous to imagine the craving for a hot water bottle, while lying in bed sweating and without blankets during a hot summer night? And yet, the seasons will change and the new yet familiar is bound to amaze us again and again. 
Similarly, Landhouse’s path has crossed ours many times, from playing at our events many years ago to releasing wonderful music on our label and contributing the very first BeYond podcast. For our 30th edition, he created a live journey that feels like a homecoming and a cozy sweater while watching the autumn rain splash against your window. 
We want to invite you to grab a steaming beverage, to listen to it, outdoors or in the comfort of your home, alone or with dear friends, tend to what comes up from within and maybe try and see if you have access to a feeling of gratitude for the warmth and peace you may be able to find in your life.
