Very first debut EP released by Language Lab label in 2005. The intro reflected the disproportionate intervention of the Czech police at the CzechTek festival, which acted on the orders of Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek. Trafo was inspired by the golden era of big triphop names (Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky ...). Espirito Santo and Mecca are well-known singles that led Yogi Rulez to victory in the Startér (Český rozhlas, Rádio Wave) talent contest. 100 CDs with fine printed booklet artwork were released at own expense.

The classic drum'n'bass modgroup Language Lab was originally formed in 1999 and re-established in the summer of 2003. Label released few recordings focused on quality drum'n'bass, breakbeat, downtempo and everything in-between.

Nicola Cruz is releasing the remixed version of his critically acclaimed 2015 album, Prender el Alma.  It will be released on June 10th on ZZK Records, and features remixes by 12 artists including label-mates History of Colour (El Buho & Barrio Lindo), Chancha Via Circuito, and sister label-mate EVHA.  

Inspired by electronic music techniques and local Andean music and culture, Cruz created the original sounds in Prender el Alma layer by layer, instrument by instrument, drum by drum.  A cast of eclectic Latin American artists seamlessly pick up where Nicola left off, adding their unique flavor to each individual track.

Coming from Salvador, Bahia, URUBU learned early to flap her wings to the rythm. Before meeting the machines she met the drum skin. A persona that grew within Vodoohop parties and journeys. From that to a big digging into psychedelic melting with the brazilian most sounds, loads of vibrating skins, wooden samples and oscillators.

Since then has frequently traveled and performed in many countries and also through many cities around Brasil, developing each time a broader and diverse exploration of all corners on music spectrum. Since for 7 years has created a solid base in Europe playing in the most prestigious festivals.
