The Scrib – Album Journey Begins
First drop from my upcoming album The Scrib — a sonic journey through lifetimes as a Scrib Priest, keeper of ancient knowledge, channel of Thoth, and echo of Enoch. This project fuses electronic, hip-hop, drum & bass, and house into a frequency medicine you can move to.

This track was once Hunter Part 2, but it’s been reborn as The Scrib — when young I would rap more, now the voice has become the instrument, and the story is now the sound. Music has always been my healing, and now it’s fueling the creation of ZΩMA — my line of healing products built to restore body and soul.

Collab with Tha Spyryt on this one — pure creative alchemy. Two tracks just dropped on the Fast Forward compilation album release, but this is the first true page of The Scrib story.

Two days later they descended to the luminous plain where the joyful town of Valledupar was located. There were cockfights in the patios, accordion music on the street corners, riders on thoroughbred horses, rockets and bells. A pyrotechnical castle was being assembled. Fermina Daza did not even notice the festivities. They stayed in the home of Uncle Lisímaco Sánchez, her mother’s brother, who had come out to receive them on the King’s Highway at the head of a noisy troop of young relatives riding the best-bred horses in the entire province, and they were led through the streets of the town to the accompaniment of exploding fireworks. The house was on the Grand Plaza, next to the colonial church that had been repaired several times, and it seemed more like the main house on a hacienda because of its large, somber rooms and its gallery that faced an orchard of fruit trees and smelled of hot sugarcane juice.

Coming from Salvador, Bahia, URUBU learned early to flap her wings to the rythm. Before meeting the machines she met the drum skin. A persona that grew within Vodoohop parties and journeys. From that to a big digging into psychedelic melting with the brazilian most sounds, loads of vibrating skins, wooden samples and oscillators.

Since then has frequently traveled and performed in many countries and also through many cities around Brasil, developing each time a broader and diverse exploration of all corners on music spectrum. Since for 7 years has created a solid base in Europe playing in the most prestigious festivals.
