Tribal Steps is inspired by conscious gatherings, ecstatic dance and community circles. The whispers of our ancestors invite us to walk in the path of their footsteps, to activate the archaic awareness of animate nature of reality and to cherish all the forms of life. This compilation is a powerful tool for integrating those impulses into our conscious mind through the power of organic music.

It is compiled in the ecstatic dance form , inviting on a journey through various styles and rhythms in order to invoke the power of active meditation inducing an ecstatic feeling of connection with all there is.Praising of organic and sacred sound is holding all tracks together. From meditative to uplifting, from mystical to euphoric, this compilation will activate the ancient spirit in you.

***All the donations will go for building an open space hall in Croatian village, surrounded by nature and permaculture garden, where different activities will be held, like music sessions, ecstatic dance, fire gatherings, workshops, education for children and retreats. All the artists from compilation will be invited to play there once when it's built. Deepest gratitude for their amazing music and opened hearts.***

Folktronica is a style that was born as a seed sent by Mother Earth and reproduced around the world like flowers, being the musicians it's bees. From Latin America they made their way to the cities like the green arms of the Amazon, but with charangos, flutes and synthesizers, until reaching the most remote places of the Earth as a whole new voice in electronic music.

With the mission to find the precious balance between the world of traditions and technology, plus a touch of mystery and modernity, folktronica positioned itself as a genre in alternative websites such as Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and then became massive in Youtube and Spotify, which were filled with artists, fans and music that spread the style from Latin America to the world, finding then each region of the world its own interpretation of this mixture of ancient sounds and contemporary technology.

Today, in the midst of a chaotic present in humanity and in the face of a Western music industry focused on the purely commercial, the beauty and depth of this ¨mestizo¨ movement that speaks of Mother Earth, folkloric traditions, ancestral rhythms and themes of the spirit is often overlooked, meanwhile it keeps exploring with the highest musical technology and forming itself as a new great world underground movement. Today Ritmos del Sur undertakes a project to share, strengthen and value these musical ideas that already inhabit the whole world, with flavors that from Latin America also pass through Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and much more. ¨This is Folktronica¨ is an eclectic compilation of 14 songs that are immersed in this genre, a spiritual nectar that we hope will bring you peace, joy and lots of rhythm to cheer your body and soul.

This symbol, seen repeatedly during meditation, reflects the harmony found through nature—a reminder that while humanity constantly seeks more, nature simply is, and we are a part of it.

“Grounding is a five-track EP that I’ve been working on for two years. I wrote it as a way to ground and center myself. The song “Grounding” came to life after I reached a point of complete exhaustion with where I was in the music industry. I needed to reconnect with music for music’s sake, rather than for personal gain or glorification.
