RECORDED DJ SETS

In the beginning of August there was a short window of opportunity to do club events in Riga again. Yours truly performed within a line-up set up shortly before announcing the night and was happy to play after a wonderful set from @markdartau and before the closing of the night by @skdsc 

This recording spans an array of records from the past and future and it was truly a pleasure to feel this music loud; the recording does not replicate that, but maybe it shall serve as a document to this weird time in contemporary history since the club – @clubserviss – is now closed too.

Elvi Soulsystems Last Minute at Serviss AUG 2021

Hosted by @clubserviss in a new location called "Diagonāle" just before Christmas yours truly played a bit over two hours of some of the stuff that stood out this year in music that is akin to dark rooms and movement (even if it were in one's own mind). This should not be considered the classic "yearmix" that Elvi Soulsystems is used to doing – this is just a pretty impulse-driven DJ set that happened to have the constraints of not playing anything that has come out earlier than 2021. It was pretty hot in the studio-type basement space that this was recorded in, so don't judge on the skipping of rhythm at some points there. Love!
