Stepping onto Up The Stuss for the first time, Anil Aras presents his ‘Through The Night’ EP, a record that captures the tension and release of the dancefloor after dark. Across four tracks, the Utrecht artist distills his trademark swing and subtle intensity into a body of work that feels alive in the moment yet timeless in its form. It’s a project that mirrors the transitions of night itself, shifting between lightness and weight, clarity and haze, while staying rooted in the grooves that have defined his journey to date.

A central figure within the Dutch scene and a long-time member of the revered SlapFunk collective, Aras has carved out a space within the house realm via his unrelenting energy behind the decks and a production style that bridges classic influences with forward-facing ideas. Releases on labels such as No Art, Hot Haus Recs, and the aforementioned SlapFunk have highlighted his instinct for crafting music that connects instantly on the floor, while his hybrid TR-909-driven DJ sets have taken him to international stages, including Glastonbury and throughout Ibiza.
