Used Alien Mind’s second album, “The Placement Aside” offers a cosmic kaleidoscope of experimental noise-pastiche-blues-art-rock leanings; a slight departure from his punk-rock infused solo debut, “Positive Mental Theme”. Used Alien Mind’s new album is stylistically eclectic as a result of collaborating with long-time friends Jon Wohl, Robert Wohl, Pete Weiss and newcomer Katie Beckman on many of the songs. The album’s distinctive sound is also due in part to working in different studios, and using a mixture of lo-fi and high-end recording equipment.
