Advice regarding mastering - Try not to use so much heavy compression. I know, loudness, punch, etc... but it ruins a lot of the drama, of the excitement you're trying to build - Any buildups, any strikes and thumps and deep basslines you're trying to make stand above the rest of the track at their respective times - Gone. The track becomes boring. So I'm not telling you not to compress at all; no. What I'm telling you is to try to find a sweet spot between very loose, very varying audio with a lot of peaks in many different heights, and compressed audio with relatively even amplitude. Find the best compromise and you've got a treat for the ears!
