After seeing success in creating the soothing yet mysterious HoloVista OST, Mariode is ready to dance again. The m+ EP is full of high moments like the lead single "freebleed" which takes cues from a couple internet genres of dance music. While the kicks, rises, and percussion may be of typical EDM, it's the way that Mariode stifles and squishes the synth leads and counter melodies to give them this frantic urgency that would be more common in a hyperpop song.
