THE HAT MAN. WAKE UP. "SLEEP PARALYSIS" is a track that replicates the terrifying experience of waking up unable to move. The beat is heavy and oppressive, mimicking the weight on the chest, while the sound design features panic-inducing breathing and high-pitched ringing. The lyrics describe the hallucination of the "Hat Man" and the internal struggle to scream. Your mind is awake. Your body is the cage.

James Shinra is a London-based electronic music producer who creates “acid laced braindance, resonating electro and addictive melodies. Lush and seamless production, as good in the sun as it is the depth of night.” With releases on Feel My Bicep, Balkan Vinyl, and WIDE, his most notable EPs include November 2015 release “Ball & Chain” on London’s @null-void; his March 2017 self-released "Orbit"; and “Meteor” on Spain’s @analogicalforce released May 2017. On a personal level, Shinra is my favorite producer of 2017 and it is an honor and a privilege to  to feature him on Neptunian Influence. He is a master of his very unique sound and I’ve never really heard anything else quite like it. Prepare to lose yourself in a dream and if fate should have it, we’ll find each other for a dance in the Great Dark Spot.

Russian producer PROXY has made a name for himself over the last decade as a mysterious maestro comfortable with creating unusual and inexplicably extraordinary beats. His strangely spellbinding sound has commanded dance floors all over the world.

As a performer PROXY has achieved regular success internationally, with high profile shows and largest festivals dating back nearly a decade: Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, I love Techno, Creamfields, Hard Summer, Electric Zoo and many more.

Proxy’s signature sound is as dark as it is beautiful. Without losing the modernity of his production, Proxy includes the raw sounds that inundated bass scene. His engagement in such reconstruction has resulted in an experimental sound atypical to EDM’s current scene. It’s hallmarked with futuristic vibes, razor-sharp hooks, hypnotic breakdowns, and jagged synths.
