Born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Juan Proeliis is a passionate music collector and DJ whose journey began with percussion and evolved into a deep connecIon with underground electronic music. Early on, he found himself immersed in the city’s clandesine rave culture.

In 2011, he stepped into the scene as a DJ and promoter, organizing events across Ecuador before relocating to Buenos Aires to further develop his artistic vision and networks.
In 2015 he founded Rawbeats Records, a vinyl-focused label with six releases and support from renowned arIsts across the global scene.
His DJ sets are eclectic, immersive, and emoIonally charged—ranging from Techno, Electro, Breaks, House Acid to Ambient, IDM crafted with a dynamic flow and a sharp ear for storytelling.

Juan has shared the decks with artists like Dj Masda, Molly, Evan Baggs, Jane Fitz, Nicolás Lutz, Quest, DJ Koolt, Nicola Cruz, Alex Picone, Giuliano Lomonte, Francesco del Garda and many more. His music has reached audiences across Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Uruguay.

Releases can be found on labels like RaIug Recordings, Shuriken, Kaminantes del Sur, Mune JP and Rawbeats Records.
