From the 1967 film 'Bedazzled', this spiky, dissonant song is derived from one of Moore's beautiful instrumental pieces, a Bossa Nova called Lilian Lust.

Ice Floe: A 3 min Sci-fi story in verse.

In Inuit culture, this is the apocryphal ceremonial casting off of the old onto the ice.  
The legend is barely true, but has piquant possibilities. Let's float the idea off-world to the Moon and visit the aged miners who live and work there. Their useful lifespans (and bodies) are greatly stretched by lighter gravity stressing bones & hearts much less than on earth. Attrition has left a final two cohorts, who tend the machinery which mines water ice, which is split into Hydrogen & Oxygen for use as fuel for spacecraft. The ice is found in the north-eastern polar region of the moon, beneath the twin conjoined craters which form the story's very real location- the Lake Of Time. 

Inspired by the title of Robert Shaw's unfinished novel. Having long wondered what his story would be like, I wrote one.
