PuRe SX (aka Martin Flex) is one of the freshest names on the booty breaks scene, a producer who knows how to drop the 808 boom and send the bodies flying around the room. Blasting out of the thriving UK underground since 2008, he currently DJs all over the world from Florida to Spain, Russia to London and beyond.

Famous for low end terrorism in the form of his smash hits 212 Booty and Link Up alongside Deekline, as well as his recent bangers Sunglasses and Lift off the Roof, PuRe SX has picked up support for his music from all the top names on the scene, from Deekline to Stanton Warriors, Ed Solo to Lady Waks and Krafty Kuts to the Freestylers. Here is a producer and DJ with the skills to lock down the club for as long as he's on the turntables: a true original with an arsenal of floor-shaking weapons to get those hands up and keep them there 'til the break of dawn.

This week in The Armory, we’re excited to welcome label boss at DogEatDogRecords, DJ Si-Dog (aka Rob Silas), to the 1s and 2s. Press play. Get down. 

Rob Silas "DJ Si-Dog" Moved to Orlando from CT in 1993 after college, where he was quickly was introduced to the Florida EDM Rave scene. Rob moved to Florida to find a band as a Drummer by trade, but was quickly consumed into the Orlando EDM club scene and decided to start DJing and producing EDM in 1994. Signed to the Indie Label Phattraxx in 1997, He released tracks under that label until he made his own label DogEatDog Records that specialize in Breakbeat EDM production & event production as well.www.facebook.com/DogEatDogRecords.

Si-Dog Dee-Jayed at Huge parties over the years like Zen 98’, and Usuaya in Gainesville & Jacksonville in the 90’s, along with numerous night clubs around Florida. Simons, Firestone, and The Beacham until 2000 to name a few.. In 2000 a new Hartford CT after-hours club called him to be the head DJ and international talent promoter from 2000 to 2004. Si-Dog had his own radio show webcast Stim-U-Late, (fathered by the Trance Domain) and then starting playing gigs in the Northeast From Philly to New Hampshire.www.facebook.com.SiDogOfficial. Rob got married in 2006 and started a family. Now travels back and forth to Florida 10 times a year.. Recharged in back in the Florida Scene, Si-Dog has been producing tracks again on DEDR, he has many charted tracks on Beatport's Top 100 with include remixes for Deekline (that won a World Wide remix competition), and Si-Dog has also collaborated with Top 10 Producer Agent K, as well as his own monthly tracks on Beatport.

Rob’s other passion is event production, DEDR threw a huge event at Firestone in December 2012 called the Leaders of the True School, Rob Silas was a presenter of the show, who showcased Colombo in is 1st ever Florida appearance from Spain. and is also back throwing parties at WMC which he’s always done in the past. He has partnered up with Glyn Morgan of FSOB and is involved with Dr P Booking, Old Skool Reunion and LOTS 2 to close out 2013. In 2014 DEDR celebrated 15 years with a huge event in South Beach Miami Rooftop pool with the biggest names in the Breaks Industry in the bill AND in attendance!. DEDR will also produce The Reunion 2014 in Orlando, and LOTS-3 in Orlando as well.

Originally from the Midwest, in her home state of Missouri, living in Kansas City, an area mostly known for House Music, and Drum N Bass; the Flurwerker found herself more attracted to the broken beat styles of Drum N Bass, Breaks, and mainly ELECTRO, specifically the Florida sound; which prompted her to throw events in Kansas City, booking many of Florida's finest BREAKS and DNB artists. She has performed not only around Florida but also states, such as; Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado. She started as a professional promoter, throwing events since 1999. Then picked up the skill; vinyl trained; since 2001 and then started on the production side in 2015; with her mentor J&H. She really found true affinity in the Electro-Breaks sound coming out of the South Florida scenes so much so that she decided to pack her bags and make the long journey to the 808 state where she now resides in the Tampa Bay area so she could further enhance her skills in the Electro Bass realms that's made Florida famous! The Flurwerker now judged as the Flurwerker the Electro Destroyer , has made her way around the Florida area such as WPB, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, St Pete, and Orlando to name a few. She also is owner of Damage Control Records, based in South Florida specializing in Electro artist. Affiliated with: Houz of Breaks, Moro Entertainment, SBC, and Damage Control Record aka DC.
