“.G.R.E.E.N.” is a greed-fueled grab for autonomy. It sees clearly and wants for growth, an organic sprawling organism that longs to separate from its deep complicated past and search for new open sunlight.

POLYCHROME is PET wife's first album. We started with a concept of the rainbow, the 7 colors inherent in what has come to be seen as the queer emblem, we wanted to rethink semiotic staples and loaded symbols. We were really interested in how visual matter is imbued with meaning, what we are conditioned to understand about things. We wanted to think about how to reconsider these colors as a starting point to take issue with language as we identify and label based on the words we are given, and what happens when the words and symbols get hijacked. How we disrupt corrupted signs and symbols, how can we reorient and reconsider how we identify and what we identify with. The queer flag is becoming a cause for corporate greed, a bastion signaling acceptability so we too can worship the god of economy.  This album has been about resistance and redefinition, about the process of identifying as queer, the pain and joy and power involved in learning and unlearning systems of hierarchy and oppression within our family, community, and our selves. The mood of the album is energetic, emotive, searching and tense ultimately releasing into an ecstatic finale in Violet. Each song has its own signature, its own mood and hue, yet strung together they create a storied journey rooted in ascension, harmony, and elation.

NADA ROBOT was founded by husband/wife team Addam & Mia Farmer, shortly followed by the addition of brothers Heath & Austin Farmer. Having grown up backstage at Beach Boys concerts, the Farmer brothers gained an affinity for musical innovation at a very early age. Their band Island Apollo experienced great alternative rock success, and now the Farmer family embarks on a new journey to push the boundaries of music yet again.  Mia Farmer comes with years of experience performing in various high profile stage productions, more recently living & working in Hong Kong. She brings an emotive voice and powerful presence to NADA ROBOT. The musical collective is greatly influenced by Talking Heads, The Beach Boys, Muse, & Daft Punk.
