While testing a new mic setup with two C- 2 Behringers, I wrote this song about my dog Legend. A one-year-old German Shepherd trained for my daughter Lori as a syncope alert service dog. And today, Legend and I hung out at Timberlane Ranch studio to test these new mics and an old 1964 Harmoney Acoustic Guitar. I love the sound I'm getting out of this old guitar. I picked it up while I was in the Upper Panisola of Michigan. This guitar rocks. Here is a sample of the song My Dog Legend.

I want to invite you to another "Folk Music Rewind."  Our guests will be Lealon Worrell and Jerry Foshee this Monday at 5 pm on "Folk Music Rewind" KWMV 88.5 & www.kwmvradio.com; they traveled across the USA and performed in the mid-60s for the Baptist Student Union in a few different bands. Jerry Foshee was in "The Folk " and "The New Light Band," and Lealon, the MIL, and ``Meaning in Life " band, as part of the Jesus Movement. When Lealon was drafted by the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict to serve at the Pentagon as a systems programmer/analyst, the band was dismantled since Lealon did most of the guitar work. When Lealon completed his service in the Army, Lealon. and Jerry formed a  Duo to travel from California to Gulf Stream water across the USA. They went on the road for almost a year as a Folk music Duo, visiting our national parks, performing folk music at festivals, and even performing in Washington, DC. In 1972. While traveling across the USA, they were told they were a part of the Jesus Movement and, after thinking about it, ended up embracing the idea of being on the front wave of the Jesus movement. They had caught the Folk wave. "This Land was made for you and me. And Lealon and Jerry lived it. Lealon was invited by George Fisher, the famous Cartoonist, to join the Rackensack established by Jimmy Driftwood and others in Mountain View, Stone County, and In Pulaski County Little Rock.
