Patrick Schulze (@patrick-schulze) from Bonn recently released a new production: “Story About You”. The young music producer, now living in Hamburg, Germany, published the track more than a month ago and now provides it as a free download via trndmusik.

trndmusik: How did you get the idea for producing “Story About You”?

Patrick Schulze: It happened the same way as with most of my tracks: I was in a quite melancholic mood. Those are usually the moments when I’m most productive in producing music. I never follow a strict scheme. I just allow myself to be lead by my emotions. Maybe that’s why my tracks always sound like they could collapse at any second but then come back even stronger. That’s not ill-intentioned: I regard my work as something positive. I’m not about having to release a stream of tracks, but scarcity value! So that’s basically why my tracks are near and dear to me. So is “Story About You”.

“Striker” – so heisst die neue EP von Ron Flatter, die vor allem eines zerschlagen soll: die Discokugeln im Club. “Die Ideen für die EP habe ich aus allen Bereichen zusammengetragen, die mich beeinflussen. Darum ist die EP auch so abwechslungsreich”, so der Musikproduzent aus Halle an der Saale. Das Original-Werk der 3-Track-EP wirkt harmonisch, aber auch zeitgleich ziemlich wild. “Der Track “Off” ist dagegen ein Techno-Track, der so viel Energie hat, dass er dich im Break mitreist und nach dem Break zerreißt”, erklärt Flatter. “Mela”, die letzte Nummer der Kollektion, ist eher etwas für den Anfang oder das Ende. After his very successful "Blind"-EP on WHATIPLAY, Dayne S is now adding another release to his WHATIPLAY collection in the form of his new "Sensor"-EP. "Sense the environment and new impressions to move freely from your inside." That's how Dayne S describes his central idea, while he produced the deephouse-tracks "Sensor" and "Labyrinth". Listening to the tracks, you are definitely able to relate to this thought, as both tracks encourage you to dance due to their catchy rhythm.

Nach seiner auf WHATIPLAY veröffentlichten und überaus erfolgreichen "Blind"-EP legt Dayne S mit der hier vorliegenden "Sensor"-EP nunmehr nach. "Die Umwelt und neue Eindrücke wahrnehmen und sich durch diese aus dem Inneren heraus zu bewegen", so beschreibt Dayne S seine Kerngedanken bei der Produktion der beiden Deephouse-Tracks "Sensor" und "Labyrinth". Diese Gedanken kann man beim Anhören beider Tracks auch sofort nachvollziehen, regen doch beide Tracks durch ihren eingängigen Rhytmus konsequent zur Bewegung an.
