This is a bit dark not going to lie,this is about some bad relationships that I've gone threw and they got pretty bad at times..

Octopolis

This song is about looking from the outside in,looking at myself dealing with all this internal pain that I dealt with and taking a step back and looking at how I must look to someone from the outside,coming to realize that there are worse things happening to other people out there and maybe it's not as bad as iy seems,changing perspective.

Such A Strange Way

This song is about a lot of how it is to feel defeated by things going on around you and just wanting to escape the harder things that are going on in life and then trying to beat it and not wanting to allow it to keep happening in your life.

There are many elements that are going on in this song and life and death play a big role in this one,My grandmother was fighting to stay alive in the hospital and I was dealing with my own mortality in trying to keep my self here in this life considering the option to quit or to keep fighting and I chose to keep going and I wanted to encourage my Grandmother to keep fighting as well,unfortunately she had already past when I started writing this song and is more of what I would have liked to have done while she was still here.

The Stars are so far represent several things in my thought process and I have tons of double meanings in everything I write. I used to watch the sky with an ex-girlfriend and that always turned out being a long distance situation,and she ended up in a few bad relationships and this is also about getting threw it and fighting to a better end,if your situation is that bad get up don't take it laying down,Don't lay down and die.
And for those who have past,I remember you in those stars and that now it seems like your so far away or a distant of a  memory.


Lay Down

Palette Is about being an artist and still having an imagination while everyone is telling you to come back to reality because you can't make a living in trying to be creative,that it's not a real job.
People are still downloading music for free when an artist worked many hours into the AM and beyond that not sleeping at all on occasion while still working a 40 + hour job..

So to come home working on my music over night just to go back to my day job to earn enough money to buy the things I need to write and record with and dealing with that reality and the politics of it all and how heartbreaking it is to be looked at like I'm a dirty beatnik pan handling on the side of the road when it was never about the money until the world turned it into just that to make a living and to afford to be able to craft the things going on in my mind.

Now how do we rape the artist? By taking our music photo's paintings etc and downloading them for nothing and not even blinking,when those things would never had been in your life if it wasn't for people like myself that made them happen.

Now this is always a double edged sword as I and we do want to share what we've made with the world but with out some sort of way to survive without money we can't feed ourselves and we are looked down on when someone like myself wrote that song that gets you threw the day or that painting that brings out those emotions in you allowing you to feel and record and help us deal in our daily lives,how is that looked at with very little worth?


So why keep doing it? I love music and I love hearing what I've done and creating new things,it's a love for the music and it's not about the money though I wish I could see some sort of return from it sure but I will continue doing it regardless.

Now for the other side I grew up listening to the radio recording off the radio with my old boombox or what ever swapping tapes with friends with cool mixes etc. I grew up with very little and couldn't afford to by my own music and eventually yeah I've downloaded free music too,If you can't afford it I still hope theres a way for you to hear it just if you get a chance to pay for it and have the means please do the right thing.

Angels Salt written and Recorded by Lee Neese.
This song has been a long time in the making started writing it probably right after high school back in 1996 or so.
It's a song I started writting about how the good and bad things that can happen when trying to meet and date people at a bar, the angel and the Devil on your shoulder doing the right or wrong thing through seeing those things actually unfolding where I worked at Mulligans at the time have a heavy influence in this song, and more recently finally getting the lyrics down and now the recording done.

Stitches is one of my newest songs and I really love it so I had to put the gas down on it to get it here finally mastered and ready to go.
Stiches is about that want to follow your dreams and after all the dream killers out there bringing them down over the years this is the year I decided to fight a bit harder to achieve those dreams left behind.

Everything you will hear is all just me and my instruments and Computer,music made in my townhouse here in Chesapeake VA right next to Virginia Beach.
I've had a hard time meeting many like minded musicians who want to play what I'm making so a full band isn't out the picture and I'd be willing to make that happen, but until then I will continue making music with the ultimate hope that it will end up on movie soundtracks or in your living room, car or radio.
