I think we can all agree that teenage boys can be pretty immature, to say the least. So I decided to call them out and have a little fun with it. This song is one of my favorites I’ve ever written. I wanted to take a less-than-desirable situation and turn it into an anthem!

Writing this song broke me out of situation I was trying to escape from for years. I came out of relationship that left me numb inside, yet I was always telling everyone I was “doing great". Time alone couldn’t heal me from this. At the end of the day, a mix of many things, including this song, helped me heal.

Time Heals

Okay, here’s the tea. My song “sad boy hour” was definitely a song I needed to write. It all started out with a boy who I can barely say I dated. It was great the first month, but ended shortly after that. He had a lot going for him, but he couldn’t see past his own negativity & honestly, it was such relief not having to deal with his constant drama. It’s his sad boy hour, not mine.
