About the EP : 

Our 29th Chapter showcases the versatile talents of British artist JOBE with the heavy-hitting Changes EP.
JOBE - previously responsible for one of Chapter 24’s biggest-selling tracks ‘Aurora’ - has released as widely as Connaisseur and Akbal Music. On this occasion, he serves up a balanced four-tracker combining cosmic, afro and techno influences.
Rafari is the opener. Marked by characterful sound design and swirling disembodied tribal voices creating a strong sense of disorientation, the track is held together by the hefty and assured drive of the main groove.

Anomaly showcases a more considered side to JOBE’s production and marks a shift of emphasis to harmony and composition, as layers of synths swell skywards before their satisfying return to earth.
Meanwhile, Boma is a return to the tense, cosmic afro drive that is bound to set dancefloors aflame, before title track Changes rounds things off with a powerful slab of progressive techno.
Four stories in sound that demonstrate JOBE as being totally unconcerned with the constraints of genre, and entirely fixated on creating music that is both timeless and forward-thinking.

There's some serious mania going on at Jannowitz headquarters – we just gathered three of the hottest Brazilian superstar Djs and teamed them up with our favourite Japanese act.
Sublime Label owner FRACTALL and his buddy ROCKSTED don't need any introduction. Their music makes techno lovers dance on every continent, they fill the clubs with their unique sound, travel all year but still took the time to produce two absolute banger tracks. The first one being „This is The Bass“ - the title is more than on point. It's everything you need: Bass, bass, bass that vibrates through your body and makes your shoulders shake. If you need a definition of contemporary techno music: You are welcome. 
The second track „Better This“ has some nice groove but is not a bit less relentless. Techno at Jannowitz starts with an „F“ and ends with „ractall & Rocksted“. And if you're now thinking: That's already a lot for one EP – you could not be more wrong. Next to FractaLL and Rocksted, Mr. ALEX STEIN who just released on Coyu's Suara and Oliver Huntemann's Senso labels and Japanese SCI-TEC artist SUDO joined in and redid „This is the bass“ in two very different ways that got one thing in common: They're out of this world. Both remixes are already club approved and make the EP one of Jannowitz' strongest releases ever.

@DoomRec is a Paris based floppy disk label created by @AndresKomatsu . For their 3rd release they welcome @DrvgCvltvre.

Since 2009, Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave and experimental house. Koreman is a highly productive producer who is respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno as RA-X in the 90′s on labels like Bunker and KK Records, Koreman comes from a DIY punk background.

His tracks take the speed down a notch to emphasis on the heavy-ness of sound and using the space left between the pounding kicks to build melancholic melodies. A blend of dark techno and deep house with lots of experiment, influenced in equal parts by Suicide, Sun Ra and Terrence Dixon.

Plenty to enjoy in this album but we particularly enjoyed ' Dead Stock' , an experimental electro / acid track with trippy lyrics on repeat  that take you deeper and deeper into a trance, as the track progresses.

There are few cities in Europe with a better range of techno party offerings than Berlin, and Grounded Theory might be one of its best. Henning Baer has been running this landmark event from the German capital since 2009, and in that time gained notoriety for championing a dark and deep style of techno as the booker and resident DJ.  

Through his career Baer’s productions have leaned towards the more experimental end of the genre, with his material landing across his own labels K209 and MANHIGH, as well as Sonic Groove and a more recent outing on Boddika’s Nonplus. 

On his debut 'Shatterproof' LP, Baer explores the full range of this experimental sound, crossing ambient and harder-edged industrial via the heavier techno he’s more commonly associated with.  

Ahead of his next appearance in Room Two on 16th December, Baer got in touch to offer us an early preview listen. 'All Over', one of the album’s more ominous moments, is available to stream now.

A self confesed Synthesizer Nerd, Producer & DJ based in Germany, Riamwio's melodic productions are starting to grab our attention. 

Also included on this EP are 3 remixers all making their debuts on Somatic Records. First up is Lauter Unfug's A&R manager Beatamines, Somatic's own A&R Tom Hutt, a promising talent with previous releases on Phobiq, Steyoyoke, Natura Viva to name a few.

Last but not least the track we're premiering is from Label Boss of Uxoa Dutxa Elite, Di Rugerio. A DJ & producer we have long admired and who really does the business on this remix.

The lovely & delicate way of understanding electronic music of Giorgia Angiuli returns to the kitties label. This time we have two minimalistic but full of emotions tracks composed by Angiulis voice and a couple of synth lines. Sometimes less is more to reach the best example of beauty. Anyway, we love the beat and dance in dark clubs, so we asked to Booka Shade for one of the remixes and the combo delivered one of that electronic hits which made them legends. Coyu & Bastian Bux convert the fineness of White Details into a powerful modern techno track. Third remix was made by Dj Seinfeld, the new kid on the lo-fi block, delivering a lovely broken beat track plenty of genuine and raw sounds, putting the cherry on the cake.
