One, two, three, four: A rhythm passes through you, beat by beat. Mirroring the quartet of pulsations, the four-on-the-floor, young producer Coiro presents his four-track EP ‘Cycles’. A love letter to the intrigue of repetition and a reminder that the cyclical is at the core of both nature and music. A perfect fit therefore for our little label and its philosophy. But much more than by its concept, are we intrigued by its incredible musical beauty: The four tracks are heartwarming and dreamy deep house melodies that accentuate choral patterns with playful staccato strings. With dancing rythms and steady melodies coiro manages to create a calming ambience that simultaneously engages and mobilizes listeners by stiring up emotions, much similar to the effects of nature itself. Having grown up in the insanely busy town of São Paulo, he uses his music to escape the tumult and densely built constructions of Brazil‘s largest city. At 16, coiro emerged himself in the world of electronic music, mesmerized not only by its sounds but also by its creation.
