Following the relaunch of her label Twirl alongside Shaun J. Wright, Alinka now brings her brand new EP 'I'm Your Ghost' to Radio Slave's Rekids. Having made frequent appearances within its catalogue, her 'I'm Your Ghost' EP sees the Ukranian-born, Chicago-raised and Berlin-residing producer return with four eclectic and club-orientated house tracks. These will sit amongst her previous releases on Permanent Vacation, Needwant, HE.SHE.THEY and Crosstown Rebels.

'Teachers' is the first cut presented on 'I'm Your Ghost' with its sharp percussive layers building towards the well-honed grooves in its composition. Title-track 'I'm Your Ghost' punches through next with weighty, wobbling subs placed against a catchy lead. 'I Still Believe' is featured with rising chord progressions and pounding kicks as '909 Lives' draws the EP to a close with an intricate mix of synths and striding drum work, paying homage to its title. It’s a package highlighting why Alinka is on an unstoppable rise, with support from some of the biggest names across house music.

ekan, the new Mexican artist who is part of Veneno Records and Cintas Clandestinas in Mexico City, gives us his first EP called “Rica”. This EP is made of 2 original tracks. The main song “Rica” is a sensual, dark and slow work with minimalist, dystopian and industrial characteristics that takes advantage of the sound of the synthesizers to generate those raspy and distorted textures that, together with the vocals, give the feeling of question and answer to the one who listens to it. “Descontrol” is a work with more adrenaline but that maintains the dystopian and industrial characteristics that allow the EP to maintain dynamism without losing its essence. The Artwork is created by the artist himself, with the purpose that fans can identify the style of the Mexican artist in his releases. Hamatsuki is  Mamuka Tskhadaia’s project, who is the resident DJ of HOROOM room and queer party series Horoom Nights.  Mamuka’s first musical impressions are linked to J. Dilla and the hip-hop culture in general. With electronic music he first became interested in hearing DJ Sprinkles. For him especially inspirational were sounds of the labels Scissor and Thread and Lobster Theremin, which later reflected in compositions of Hamatsuki. “For me it is important to focus on common senses or emotions rather than details. Accordingly, we may consider this as the main axis of the project. Also, I never write composition specially for dance or the dancefloor.”

Spencer Parker returns to Rekids with looping techno roller ‘You’re Under My Control Now’ featuring remixes from Truncate, P.Leone, Fadi Mohem and label boss Radio Slave.

Released on last year’s ‘Dance Music’ album via Parker’s own Work Them Records, ‘You’re Under My Control Now’ is an infectious and mesmerising techno banger that’s garnered support from the likes of Midland, Len Faki, Amelie Lens and Marcel Dettmann.

One of the track’s biggest supporters, Radio Slave is now releasing it on Rekids with a medley of top tier remixes. Radio Slave’s reimagining scales back on the original’s high-octane energy, instead taking a more uplifting direction with an arpeggiated bassline, meandering synths and clattering percussion.

A regular on Seilscheibenpfeiler (alongside artists like FJAAK, Solid Blake and Kasper Marott), Fadi Mohem is next with a dark and atmospheric rendition complete with driving kicks, subterranean chords and echoing effects before Truncate serves up his cavernous ‘Mind Control’ Remix which combines tantalising melodies with robust drums and murky vocals.

E-Missions co-founder P.Leone and Radio Slave, having paired up for a remix of Deep Dimension last year, collaborate again here to provide a robust, compelling piece of house music littered with breathy samples and oscillating atmospherics.
