The invited guests at this month's Playaz session in Room One, Drumsound & Bassline Smith have been in the drum & bass game for a good while already but they're showing no signs of decelerating. Having just announced their latest single, 'Come Alive' which features Youngman on vocal duties, they dropped us a link to an octane 30 minute mixtape that we've now upped in promotion of their upcoming set on the 28th November.

This is my entry into the Liquicity DJ competition for 2025.

Last year I got to the Top 10, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to play at the festival.

With the updated format and new third stage to the competition, I'm feeling even more confident!

This is one of my favourite mixes to date - I think one of the best representations of me as DJ. It's a subtle back and forth, almost a conversation, between deep soul and techy rollers. Hope you dance along!

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Liquicity Festival, and I’m thrilled to celebrate by entering the contest for the third time in a row! Even more special, this is also my 10th Liquicity Festival in a row. It’s been an incredible journey.

As always, my mix features tracks from the amazing artists performing at the festival this year, with a personal twist to make it uniquely mine. I’m sharing it a bit earlier than usual, as I’ll be flying to Portimão on April 29th for DnBAllstars in Portugal and won’t be back until after the contest deadline has passed.
