Two years ago we lost my Aunt "Ollie" to cancer. She was my dad's sister, but more like a grandmother to my sisters and I than an Aunt. She was there when I first started playing the flute and loved to hear me play Amazing Grace. There is a part of me that believes she hears me each and every time I play it.  She has been on my mind the last few weeks with Mother's Day just going by and I wanted to do something to honor her. I sat in my studio one afternoon and pulled all these pieces together – the triple flute (High Spirits), bamboo transverse flute, singing bowl, chime, djembe and ethereal pads ... it wasn't long before I had something sweet.
