This one is about Mental Health Awareness. It is an expression of the emotions, sensations, and states of mind that I have when I get into certain struggles of things like depression or anxiety. I hope that this one can reach out to people who have similar circumstances in their life, and let them know that they are not alone; as well as hopefully motivate them to express their experiences of mental health issues in a healthy and cathartic way.

Demo 2: (In)Sane

recorded at Chillhouse Recording Studio (in Charlestown) with Will Holland.

With this Demo, the concept was centered around the health of the Earth, and being aware of our various world leaders - being conscious of what they are promoting (health or destruction). "Autonomous Seasons" came to me when I was looking outside my window and seeing a brutal hot Summer day turn into a rainstorm deluge (climate change). "Omega Visions" was an epic title I chose to express the end all be all sort of things we hear or read on the news... visions of the end, or the ultimate and only way of things. "Tempest Mind" came to me as a thought of the power of the mind, can our thoughts or state(s) of mind cause things outside of us in this world..? Almost as a keep your mind healthy message, as within so without sort of thing. "Dismantle to Renew (Flowers Growing in a Desert Storm)" definitely is a reference to "Dune Part Two." The concept of the Fremen living out in the desert, banished by an evil power, and sustaining each other with faith and love to rise again.

Demo 3: Proclamations of Damnation [or] The Sanctity of Tomorrow

Demo 4: Climbing Boulders of Trials to Ascend. This is really the first of my efforts that has a story line; rising from adversity, starting at "the abyss" and rising to regain one's "wings" and understanding honor in overcoming challenges. It also is almost a concept album based on overcoming depression specifically, and regaining one's self esteem. For the artwork I used the Demo 3 "Eye of the Earth" picture and surrounded it with a greater eye, each part having its own individual shape from the shapes I used in Demo 1 + Revision; the concept intending to represent a sort of multi-dimensional feel.

These are remade and reenvisioned tracks (with rhythm, lead, drums, and bass) from MIIMAz, working on the first two Demos I put out, Demo 1 / Demo 1 (Revision) From Effort Born.

...and I think I might have to thank my recent ex-girlfriend for the picture... as I drew it recently after the end of our relationship... cover of (In)Sane as well, now that I remember...

Demo 5 was fun. And that really was the main idea for the music in this one, just love the music you play and love the hard work, and getting it recorded and, just relax and enjoy. I gotta say I was really proud at how it sounded, and working with Will at the Studio was a privilege. The concept is kind of trippy, I just thought about it looking at the picture, and steadily put the song titles together based around it. Some of these riffs I have had 'on backorder' to be played up to 10 years ago - maybe longer... most of them are new... Haha, I remember one of them (the beginning of Solar Motivation for the DMPlanet) I remember just hearing in my head without a guitar in sight - so I just got out my cellphone and beatboxed it out in my VoiceRecorder app.
Lol, whatever you have to do to keep the good ones. Have fun.
