What Price, Any Speech Now?

Prefiero morir à pie, qué de vivir à rodillado..... Ché Guevara.

If you've ever thought that people the world over deserve to have a peaceful, fulfilling, materially happy life, with a sense of equality, shared fairly in society, etc, then you are a socialist. 

Ché Guevara expresses the idea that living ' on yer knees', is like begging, for a piece of 'the pie', life's pie. 
No. We don't deserve to be less than human. Animals beg for food. We deserve far better. 

These principals have driven me throughout my life. Recently, at age 58, now, I declare my right to make public what I believe is making most folk in the world ache with unhappiness. 

I am a writer, musician, dramatist- mainly scripts, and photographer.
I write to alleviate the need to tell someone, anyone, what I feel is important in the world. I write also, because escaping into another place, a story, is a fulfilling enjoyable experience.

 Language, any human language, is vital. Spanish is the 2nd most used language in the world, per capita, after Mandarin Chinese. English is up there, but not 3rd any more, I believe. 

So languages, including Sign Language and all alternatives to speaking and writing, is vital to expression, and the need to express yourself is a fundamental and burning desire, in humans. Without communication between humans, there's no dialogue, no sharing of common values, no common- and vitally, peaceful- ground.

It's the need to be heard, for someone to listen. To know someone is listening!
That's why I post work to SoundCloud. It's a fantastic platform for self- expression. And we humans, we burn up with desire, to express ourselves. So let's Get It On, as the beautiful African American would say.... and Boy, do we need them, more than ever, to tell us how they feel! Shared suffering, folks, is suffering cut by half... leading to healing.
