On August 18th, 1997, Tom Merriman walked through the doors of the building that bears his name… TM Studios. During the recording sessions that followed, Tom created one of the best loved oldies jingle packages in recent history… Overture, for Bill Stedman, at Oldies 104.3 WOMC in Detroit.

13 years later, in 2010, Bill Stedman is now at WMXJ – Majic 102.7 in Miami. He came back to TM with a challenge… to take Overture, and make it even better. So that’s exactly what we did! Introducing… Overture, Remastered!

Led by chief engineer Dave Giangiulio, The TM Studios team stripped the package down and cleaned up the original tracks, then built it back up again, adding new instrumentation and new vocals. Many hours later, the package was complete, and Bill Stedman loves it:
