Hailing from Guatemala City, Dario began his journey as a resident of DMNSNL, later co-founding the label alongside his colleague Jorge Galindo. In his debut EP, Dario captures the essence of his sound — punchy basslines, acid-infused sequences, and a refined ability to build tension and immersive atmospheres.
Two original tracks intertwine to deliver a solid and magnetic debut that reflects the identity of a producer in full creative evolution.

The experience expands with four remarkable reinterpretations by Ruksby, Jorge Galindo, Lucas Novaes, and Vleks, each bringing their own vision and reimagining the originals through distinct sonic perspectives.

PREMIERE: Darío - Sombras Que Bailan (Lucas Novaes Remix) [DMNSNL]

We are happy to have Kostas Maskalides debuting on Substeal Records with his outstanding single called ‘Singularity’. Coming out from Belgium Kostas is definitely no stranger to all the electronic music lovers out there. The recent breakthrough for Kostas was perhaps his ‘Furnace’ EP through Phobiq Recordings, which was one of the best-selling Techno tracks in 2017. ‘Singularity’ is a wonderful track built on perfectly blended drums with sharp and catchy stabs. To complete this excellent release, on the Remix duties we have the Majorcan star Alberto Ruiz, who doesn’t need any further introduction, making a powerful and rolling Remix of the Original. The other Remix is coming from The USA based Barbuto, who has become familiar through his releases on Tronic, Phobiq and Funk’n Deep.

The charismatic whirlwind Rocky Valente dishes up a three-track EP of varying techno feels featuring a high octane rework from Mark Reeve, on Pig & Dan's ELEVATE.

The Amsterdam based DJ and Producer strides through on the A-side with a 4/4 driving peak time monster entitled ‘The Revolution’. Shuffling hi-hats over a tight, rolling kick drum provide the pace with reverberating synth effects and subdued arpy basslines filling the corners of the track. ‘Anxiety’ features the dubby soundscapes often associated with deep Berlin dub-techno. The filtering echoes contrast the hard panning of the chord loop and are all locked in by her distinctive drum loops.

Mark Reeve remixes the A, providing an up-tempo driver that fills the sonic spectrum with crisp percussive drums and oscillating basslines. The huge melodic lines that chime in bring forward a cavernous breakdown that will stop dancers in their tracks momentarily before throwing them back into his deep grooves.
