Another cool tune. Very Dylanesque. I appreciate the insight behind these songs and what your life is like.  I always wondered how professional musicians maintained relationships much less remembered who they met, what was said last, what they did, etc.  Even picking up where you left off has to be hard when you factor in how long it might have been between meetings.  Hard to imagine.  I also liked what you said about "making a mess in the kitchen and disappearing again like a ghost".  It's easy to believe you heard those words verbatim at some point in your life.  Probably more than once. :)  Thanks again and be safe!

wow.... pleasantly haunting...throws me back to my childhood and conversations with my father that seemed irrelevant at the time....but mean so much more now since his passing 4 yrs ago....

Lyrics are a bit unfocused but the fingerpicking on ol' HONEY is exactly why I have always found Ross' songwriting approach and chord structures (and the expansion of each chord) to be so magnificent. Subtle, but truly inspired approach to core acoustics. As always :)
