A bluesy tune I wrote about a year ago featuring myself on guitar and vocals and my good friend John Couture on the cajon drum. Written about a young girl who is unhappy with her betrothed, she decides to take matters into her own hands. A somewhat spooky song about murder and a river... Enjoy!

Follow Me Down To The River

A sweet little song in 6/8 I wrote from three different perspectives based on the greek myth about Atlas, the man holding up the world. The first verse and chorus were written in real time as I listened to my best friend broke up with a boy during a phone call. The second verse and chorus describe the end of a relationship I went through and the final chorus speaks of interesting and new possibilities.
With this song I tried to speak the underlying message: don't put your entire world in the hands of someone who isn't willing or worthy of helping you share your load.
